Symi Roots House, is nestled on the hillside overlooking the beautiful waters of Symi’s port, its rooted in family’s enduring legacy and the island’s rich history. This mansion was built in 1830 and has seen centuries of life, love, and laughter. It all started when Maria, a young woman full of grace, married her beloved and lay the foundation for what would become a family treasure.

To celebrate their new house, Maria and her husband planted a fig tree in the yard. Over the years, the tree’s roots grew deep and strong, connecting with the house’s foundation to represent the unbreakable link of family. Its branches spread wide, bringing shade and sweetness.
